Cooking Connections was our 2024-2025 District Grant project. We partnered with HyVee’s dietician Victoria Chouklina and the Job Point YouthBuild Program to teach cooking skills and build community connections. Watch for reunion meals on the home page calendar and blog!
We had a great time cooking.
Students also practiced networking skills, earned “kitchen bags” containing a crockpot and kitchen utensils, and shopped for groceries.
